Bonjour my Royal friends! Welcome to my blog, a ‘tongue-in-chic’ happiness lifestyle guide from a funny princess point of view!

Today I write to you from my palace desk about “Don’t let fear stand in the way of your goals.” From the Cowardly Lion to The Little Engine that Could, there are many examples of finding your courage mojo by changing how you think. The Royal Art of the Pause-It’s Not Just Smelling the Roses

Bonjour my Royal friends! Welcome to my blog, a ‘tongue-in-chic’ happiness lifestyle guide from a funny princess point of view!

Today I write to you from my palace desk about In the New York School of Practical Philosophy, I was introduced to the concept of mindfulness—bringing yourself into the present moment without judgment. One fantastic and powerful technique they taught was to pause between activities. They call this practice… can you believe it? The Pause. (Cue mechanical laughing teeth.)😜

When the Crown of Counsel Passes – Being Our Own Parents to Ourselves & Friends

Bonjour my Royal friends! Welcome to my blog, a ‘tongue-in-chic’ happiness lifestyle guide from a funny princess point of view!

Today I write to you from my palace desk about the day when our parents are no longer here on earth to offer their steady, loving counsel. Oh, how we miss those voices we trusted—the ones that told us to wear a sweater even in August! 🧥
When the “parent hotline” goes silent, we discover something both surprising and profound: it’s our turn to become our own mothers and fathers. To give ourselves the gentle guidance, the steady voice, and yes—even the tough love—that once came from them.

But here’s the twist: we’re not meant to do it alone. As our friends lose their parents too, we can step up for each other. We can mother and father one another, deepening friendship into kinship, and ensuring none of us travel this road without love at our side. May we all wear the crown of counsel with grace—for ourselves, and for each other.
